My family loves Tynemouth Priory but we would love to see more historical events, reenactments and perhaps displays of artifacts about the history of the Priory.

Impressive ruins set high on an imposing headland. Was once one of the largest fortified areas in England. Run by English heritage.

Good for a walk around to see the historic ruins. Also good for the Sunday market at the train station.
