In reality, this Cape Perpetua Well is only about 20-feet deep. But visit an hour before or after high tide and you’ll swear it’s an abysmal sinkhole.

I definitely think high tide is best to see the water play around the well.

Go here when tide is coming up to experience the ever growing mini floods in the well. You can stand pretty close on the ledge without getting wet for a long time!
