El puente George Washington (inglés: George Washington Bridge </font>), conocíu informalmente como'l GW Bridge, el GWB, el GW, o'l George ye un ponte colgante que s'estiende sobre'l ríu Hudson pa conectar Washington Heights col borough de Manhattan na ciudá de Nueva York y Fort Llei en Nueva Xerséi per mediu de la Interestatal 95, la US 1/US 9/US 46, que s'atopen dafechu en Nueva Xerséi y terminen a la metá de la ponte na frontera estatal.

El GWB ye consideráu unu de les pontes más transitaes del mundu en términos de tráficu vehicular. En 2007, la ponte soportó'l tránsitu de 107.912.000 vehículos, según la Autoridá Portuaria de Nueva York y Nueva Xerséi, l'axencia gubernamental biestatal que ye propietaria y opera delles pontes, túneles y aeropuertos de la área.

The picturesque views from the top level are beyond notable. Said to be the longest span in the US. Walking is possible, biking is smarter. Do beware of the occasional destitute or suicide. Beautiful!

Walk across the bridge it’s so relaxing. I hate that netting that makes it look like a demilitarized zone. You can see the little red light house from here.
