Well worth the drive out! Spectacular views! Just be mindful of the time of day as they close the steps going down to the light house @ 4:30. rangers do a nice job explaining some interesting facts.

Great lookout of the pacific coast, a long drive but well worth it. Possible to see whales and def elephant seals

It's a long drive to get there but worth it. Dress warm because this is the windiest area in the pacific coast and it gets really cold. There's a half a mile walk from parking, dogs are not allowed.

The new accessibility improvements are great. Drive very slowly up to the parking area the road is shared with pedestrians

Great workout go up & down the 300 stairs a few times. Closes at 4:30pm. Check winds at windyty.com

The stairs to the lighthouse close if the winds exceed 40mph, but the walk down / up isn't too bad and a worthwhile effort.
