Kalabsha

Kalabsha foi'l nome árabe d'una población de Nubia, asitiada unos 50 km al sur de la primer tabayón del ríu Nilo, na marxe oriental. El pueblu sumió anubiertu peles agües embasadas de la presa de Asuán.

Nome exipciu: Taser, Taset, o Termis. Nome griegu: Talmis. Nome árabe: Kalabsha.

El templu

Kalabsha tien un importante templu, que yera'l más grande de Kush, con un perímetru de setenta per trenta metros (ye'l segundu si tener en cuenta'l templu de File, en territoriu exipciu). Foi construyíu por César Augusto n'honor de Mandulis, dios de la fertilidá y tien grabaes inscripciones del rei Silko de Nobatia narrando la victoria sobre los blemios.

Nos año sesenta el templu foi desmontáu del so allugamientu y reconstruyíu na marxe esquierda del llagu Nasser pa evitar la so desapaición. Foi'l primer treslláu d'un templu, realizáu por un equipu alemán, que remató'l so trabayu en 1970.

El templu forma parte del Muséu al campu de Nubia y Asuán, declaráu Patrimoniu de la Humanidá pola Unesco en 1979 col nome de Monumentos de Nubia de Abu Simbel a File.
