An excellent & truly historic day out. Worth visiting and spending the full day here if the weather is good as you can have a picnic on the battlefield. The abbey is much fun for all ages & even dogs.

Abbey built on the site of the Battle of Hastings by William the Conquerer as penance for the bloodshed. Run by English heritage.
