A must see in Charleston SC. It's simple awe inspiring. Words can't do justice the feeling you'll get walking around and looking at Angel Oak. It should be on everyone's list of things to see.

Located in a tiny park on John's Island. This is one well-preserved lowcountry treasure worth a visit or two. Arrive early before it gets too crowded.

Be aware of chiggers. Best to wear longer pants and sleeves. No dogs allowed by the tree - must stay in the picnic area, which is where the chiggers are, especially in the fallen tree moss.

A gorgeous oak tree that is rumored to be the oldest thing on the east coast of the United States. You will be speechless when you see it.

The tree is huge with limbs going everywhere. You have to see it in person to fully appreciate it. Finding could be tough, just have the right coordinates and trust the gps. Its free to check out

Absolutely beautiful! I would recommend going on a weekday when it's less crowded for optimal pictures!
