U get the best views, if you stop right after the intersection leading to the parking lots near the campground. No ropes here. Hike into the crack and go for a stroll between Europe and America.

Quite impressive to walk between these big walls of massive stones. If you are at the waterfall, go back down to the car park and walk left up. That's where the shops and meeting points are.

Magical place to visit. Check out the water with all the coins from the ages between the continents. Also the main path along the "wall" leads to a waterfall to the right if you're facing it.

Most sacred location in Iceland. Beautiful & rich with history. This place has everything: North American tectonic plates, popular filming location of Game of Thrones & Star Wars, & 1st parliament.

The view is incredible and reading the history of the Althing is really interesting. The environment is pretty spectacular too. But it's a forty minute visit really - do the thing and leave.
