Cabo Carvoeiro, Peniche, Portugal by Yvon from Ottawa
We took a day-trip to Peniche hoping to capture some of the fishing scenes that I had so enjoyed photographing in 1972 (see <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/19787482@N04/2317200488/">www.flickr.com/photos/19787482@N04/2317200488/</a> ). But no luck. Instead we drove to the tip of the Peninsula to a very rugged place along the coast called Cabo Carvoeiro. There we saw the Berlenga Island, about 10km offshore, islands that I had visited in 1972 (see <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/19787482@N04/3383983434/">www.flickr.com/photos/19787482@N04/3383983434/</a> ) and an interesting lighthouse, one that blends well with its natural surroundings.
